The Buhler High School band has a rich tradition and history of being a great band in the state of Kansas. The band is made up of the concert band, symphonic band, and wind ensemble as well as marching band.

Prairie Hills Middle School band is the next step for young musicians to prepare them for high school. The band is formed by a marching band as well as a concert band and a jazz band group.

Buhler High School


The Elementary schools at Buhler are made up of Plum Creek Elementary, Buhler Grade School and Union Valley. Students will be introduced to their instruments in a fun, educational manner in a concert setting!


The Buhler School Bands are made up of kids from 5th-12th grades and are made up of over 400 members strong! At Buhler, music is richly valued and students are given the keys to achieve musical and academic success. Elementry students pursue the introduction of instrumental playing in a concert band type setting and discover the passion of music. Middle School student take part in a marching band, concert band as well as an audition only Jazz Band. Buhler High School allows musicians to take their skills to the next level by participating in 3 different concert ensembles, a competitive marching band, a pep band, as well as an audition only Jazz Band.
